In 1946 Rijksluchtvaartschool get thirty De Havilland DH.81a “Tiger Moth” aircraft from Royal Air Force (RAF) pre-war storage in the UK. The first bench of twelve aircraft still have their RAF camouflage paint but white Dutch registration marks.From end fourties all the aircraft are painted in a standaard yellow color with black logo, titles and registration marks.
